Comprehesive Eye Care For Your Family
Our practice was designed and built around our patients, and we strive to
provide the best possible service and care. Our office uses the latest
technologies and techniques to give you the best and most comfortable
vision at work and at play. Dr. Ngo recommends annual eye exams to
maintain optimal visual health. By looking inside your eye we can observe
diseases before they affect your vision. Most eye diseases change slowly
and are painless so you don't notice until you have lost some sight. We
have on site visual field testing with the Carl Ziess Frequency Doubling
(FDT) visual field perimeter. This advanced technology allows us to detect
Glaucoma much earlier than other visual field analyzers. We also offer
advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques to capture detailed photos
of the retina where many systemic conditions such as Diabetes and
Hypertension can be seen.
We provide Specialty contact lens services such as Scleral Contact lenses for the treatment of corneal irregularities such as Keratoconus. We also offer contacts for slowing down the progression of Myopia (Myopia Control). Studies show that we can reduce the advancement of nearsightedness up to 50% with these types of treatments. We also offer FREE Lasik evaluations as well! Because we know how much your eye health and appearance can mean to the quality of your life, we are committed to excellence in servicing your complete eye care needs. We have a highly trained staff that guarantees that you will be treated with fairness, courtesy, and respect. If you're looking for quality care with a personal touch, we hope you'll give us a call. For your convenience our Optometry office is open evenings and weekends!
Why Are Annual Eye Exams Important?
Routine eye exams are important — regardless of your age or your physical health. During a comprehensive eye exam, your eye doctor does much more than just determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses. He or she will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health. Also, eye doctors often are the first health care professionals to detect chronic systemic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and auto-immune conditions.
Eye exams for children also are very important to insure normal vision development and confirm that children have the visual acuity and vision skills required for schoolwork and other activities. Children don’t always know what “normal” vision looks like, so they’re unlikely to complain of vision problems. However, because vision is so closely linked to the learning process, undetected learning-related vision problems can lead to trouble with schoolwork. If your child is performing poorly at school, be sure to have his or her eyes examined to ensure optimum vision for learning.
